Bringing visibility to the disability community through art.

Is there a more noble mission, especially if you are an artist?

When Brent Naughton asked me to redesign the visual identity for Portrait of a Soul, it was a pretty easy "Heck yes!"

Portrait of a Soul connects children and adults with disabilities with local artists to collaboratively create portraits that reflect identity, story and self-expression. Through this creative partnership, we expand representation and champion disability inclusion. Their partnership with Cincinnati Children's connects children and adults with artists to tell these stories.

The Portrait of a Soul vision is this:
A world where individuals with disabilities are represented with dignity, agency and authenticity so that every person is seen and valued on their own terms.

Every person to truly be SEEN. I love that! The identity was created with that in mind.

Thank you so much, Brent Naughton and Michelle Blades for the opportunity to work with you on your rebrand. You will forever have an advocate for your organization and your mission.
